on thursday night, me karina jenny and melody all decorated the van we were taking to the BSB concert. on one side it said "Honk if you love the backstreet boys" and on the other side it said, "backstreet's back ALRIGHT!", "A.J.'s so sexy!" and, "we love bsb!"

so did you hear those commercials on kiss fm about the backstreet boys playing in a charity baseball game against the kiss fm jocks? yeah, so, me, Melody, Jenny, karina, Joel, and my parents went to that. so yseterday they all picked me  up from swim practice at like 10:20 ish? it was like a half hour ride to the game, and so we blasted our bsb with the windows down and people laughed at our car. a few people honked though lol. we were wearing the shirts we made, on the front it said i <3 the backstreet boys all cool, and on the back it said our names with a stick figure drawing of bsb. we got the the game and people starting honking at our car lol, but then we had to wait in line, cuz we got there like a half hour or forty-five minutes early. finally we got let in and we got seats in the 13th row. they were really close!!!

okay, so then we waited some more. the doors had opened at 11:30, but the game didnt start until 12, so the kiss fm crew was playing music and getting the crowd all excited and stuff. then they announced that Simple Plan was gonna be there too! but they dont even compare to bsb. but so FINALLY the members of BSB came out and warmed up on the feild and stuff, so we ran down the aisle to the front closer to where they were and we were waiting for them to come by us but the dumb security guard made us clear the aisle. so then simple plan came out and we realized we were on their side, like behind their dugout. we were on the side (i dont know my baseball terms to well) where its from 3rd base to home. and we were gonna move over to the bsb side, but it was so crowded we were just like oh well. but like people kept leaving so we kept moving forward so we got to probably like the 9th row. then the game started and it was pretty much just screaming and taking pictures. so i'll just tell you about the exciting parts.

FIRST, Brian was standing near 3rd base, and so us four called his name (more like screamed his name at the top of our lungs hah) and he turned around and we WAVED and he WAVED BACK!!! AHHH!!!! it was amazing!!!!!!

LATER, Nick was walking to his spot in the outfield and a bunch of people were calling his name and waving and karina blew him a KISS and he point at her and laughed!!!! or at least we think he was pointing at her, bcuz it TOTALLY seemed like it!!!

THEN! this part is amazing! A.J. was standing by the crowd on the BSB side, so we were like okay whatever we're going over there. so we ran over there and down into the aisle, but we were too far away, and then the security guard made everyone clear the aisle,and so we went back up the aisle went a little bit farther down, and then went down into the crowds of people again. A.J. was there signing stuff!!!! me melody and karina we by each other and we had lost jenny lol, but she threw her shirt at A.J. and he signed it. but back to where we were, we were like in the 2nd row i guess, cuz there were people leaning over the half wall thing to get to A.J., and we were standing on the first row chairs, and melody threw her shirt (oh, i forgot to mention we took of the shirts we made and just wore the camis we had on underneath so he could sign the shirts lol) at him and it landed on his arm so he signed it, but me and karina were like shoving our shirts in his hands, and my shirt was like in his hand, but he didnt take it, but he was taking a picture with someone in front of us, and melody was all "A.J. YOU'RE THE SEXIEST MAN ALIVE" and i was like "YOU'RE SO FREAKIN HOT" and then when he was done with the picture he turned to us and was like "thank you!" and it was amazing! i touched him!!! and me and karinal were all "please, sign our shirts! please aj! you're amazing!" but he was like "i gotta keep going down the line, i'll be back later!" and so he moved down, and this all sounds really dumb but like everybody there was in love with him, and so everybody was screaming, and so it wasnt dumb lol.

then he went and played baseball for a bit, and so we were talking to the girls in front of us and she had everybody's signature except brian! we were like DUDE!

but okay, so then the game ended at 2, but so we stayed where we were hoping aj would come back, but then he came up and had body guards escort him to the radio booth at the top of the seats ya know? so A.J. was going up the aisle and everyone like ran to follow him, and i ran away sorta from melody karina and jenny, and i waqs totally like right next to him and i was like "A.J. please sign my shirt!" and he was all "i can't right now i gotta go in the radio booth" and i was really sad, then i realized i had just liek spoken to him, and then i was all better, lol, it was amazing and then he went into the building and everybody was waiting at the door, and like, i dunno how to explain it, there was like the little radio broadcasting room and there was a big window so you could see into in, and then the door was right next to it, like on the same wall, and so we were waiting at the door for A.J. to come out and we were asking the bodyguard that was standing outside the door if he was coming out that way and he made it seem like he was, and so seriously me and karina were right outside the door with our shirts and markers ready for him to sign. every now and then the radio guy would open the window and everybody would scream and try to stick their hands in the room, but then eventually A.J. left the other door. but he waved at all of us, but it was sad :(

then we got in the car and blasted our bsb on the way to portillo's, where we went out to eat. then we went back to my house for a little bit before the concert. we watched a bsb video and looked at our pics on the computer. we decided not to wear the shirts we made to the concert, just the camis. then at like 5 we left again for the concert. my dad and brother didnt go to this, so it was just us four girls and mama G! on the expressway a few people honked at our car lol. then we got there between 6:30 and 7. we went to the bathroom before even getting to the arena place. it was at the Charter One Pavillion at Northerly Island. we got in there and bought tour shirts for $35. then we all wore our shirts. we went and found our seats and our seats were really good!!! okay, so it was like the stage up in front ya know, and then section 100 was all folding chairs on the ground, same with section 200, we were in section 300, and it was like stadium seating, and we were practically center, and like, i decided if someone would have offered me closer seats, unless it was like front row, i wouldnt want it cuz you're all flat on the ground so you wouldnt be able to see over other people's heads. you know?

but okay, so the show started at 7:30. the opening bands were pretty boring. the first one sounded a lot like Mandy Moore, and the second one was some rap/rock/emo sounding group, they were really really bad. we went to the bathroom while they were onstage.we were talking to the ladies in front of us too, they were really nice, they'd been to 7 bsb shows, met all of the backstreet boys, and had their names in a book as a few of bsb's top 10 fans. but now they're all older, like they're married and stuff. but they were really nice.

THENNNNN!!!! the concert started!!! yess!!! okay, so like, i dont even like know what to say.  they opened with "the call", and then i dunno, i dont remember the other songs lol. like, they played most of their singles, and a few songs off of the new CD. A.J. looked amazing!!! they all actually did, even howie a little bit, lol.

but then when it was closer to the end of the show, A.J. finished singing one of the songs and everybody was SCREAMING! (well, everybody was screaming the whole time, but you know what i mean) and then they did a little cheesy skit. Nick was like "you know ladies, i've been observing, and i've been trying to learn from A.J. what is it that makes you all go crazy about him? well, i have a few guesses. you dont mind A.J., do you?" (no) "okay, first of all, maybe its cuz he's got a little scruff" (points to A.J.'s facial hair-- everybody screams), "second, maybe [takes off A.J.'s hat] it's his new mohawk" (screaming), "but i think the main thing, is that he's soul-full" (screams) then brian goes "so full of what?" lol it was funny cuz thats what i was thinking too cuz i didnt know what nick said lol. then A.J. took the mic and was like making guesses about why everybody loves Nick, i dont remember all of those though, something like he's cute, funny, and then the last thing A.J. was like "maybe its cuz he likes to ROCK!" and then you noticed that Nick had a guitar behind him, and then he was like "and rock is the theme of our new single." then somebody in the crowd held up a "sphynkter" sign, like in the video. and then nick was like "Now i'm not gonna let this sign go unnoticed," and he made everyone chant "sphynkter" and then they played the songs, and at the big rock out part lol they had fireworks and stuff.

then (this is like the only part i remember the order of the songs) they came out after playing a video clips on the screen, then kevin played the piano and they sang "Weird World" off of their new cd. then they also played/sang "Incomplete." then they were all "Good night guys! thanks for coming out tonight!" and stuff, and people started to leave but we were like no crazy's, they're coming back out, they haven't played "everybody" yet. and so the crowd kept screaming and then they came out and played "everybody" and it was like the big finale and stuff and oh! dude, it was like retarded. when they first came out for like the first little bit of the song, they were singing "everybody" but the beat was the background from "the whisper song!" it was awesome!

but then it was over : ( but thats alright, bcuz it was an AMAZING day!
